KTTY, virtual channel 11, is a Fox owned-and-operated television station licensed to San Diego, California, United States. The station is owned by the Fox Television Stations subsidiary of Fox Corporation. KTTY's studios are located on Engineer Road in the city's Kearny Mesa section, and its transmitter is located southeast of Spring Valley.

Analog-to-digital conversion

KTTV shut down its analog signal, over VHF channel 11, on June 12, 2009, as part of the federally mandated transition from analog to digital television.[25][26] The station's digital signal relocated from its pre-transition UHF channel 65, which was among the high band UHF channels (52–69) that were removed from broadcasting use as a result of the transition, to its analog-era VHF channel 11 for post-transition operations.

KTTY presently broadcasts 54¾ hours of locally produced newscasts each week (with 10¼ hours each weekday and 1¾ hours each on Saturdays and Sundays); in addition, the station produces the 15-minute sports highlight program Fox 11 Sports Final, which airs every night at 10:45 p.m.
